Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 2026 (draft).
This policy explains how Lenny (hellolenny.co.uk) uses cookies and similar technologies.
The short version
Lenny uses one strictly necessary cookie — a session cookie that keeps you signed in and keeps the site secure. We do not use any advertising, analytics or third-party tracking cookies, and we don't track young people across the web. Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, we don't show a cookie consent banner — none is required for essential cookies.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device so it can remember things, for example that you're logged in. "Strictly necessary" cookies are ones a service can't work safely without.
Cookies we use
- Session cookie [name to confirm, e.g. connect.sid] — strictly necessary. Keeps you signed in and protects against cross-site request forgery. Set only after you interact with the site (such as logging in). Expires when your session ends or after [8 hours].
What we don't use
- No advertising or marketing cookies.
- No third-party analytics cookies (for example, we do not use Google Analytics).
- No social media tracking pixels.
- No cross-site or behavioural tracking of young people.
Managing cookies
Because our only cookie is strictly necessary, disabling it in your browser will stop you being able to log in and use the service. You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
If this changes
If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent first through a cookie banner.
